October Meeting
As our time for project ExCEL is coming to a close, our teachers are still working hard integrating the NGSS in to their science lessons.
Our October meeting began with a math warm up activity from Maria. She showed us images of cubes in various designs for just a couple of seconds and teachers had to recreate them using linker cubes. This helps in building one’s visual math sense. It was fun but some of the shaped proved to be challenging to recreate!
Next, teachers spent some time learning about and analyzing the process and practice of documenting their work.
Teachers also had some time to plan with their grade level teams and discuss their upcoming final projects.
